raising my children, in the backwoods of
northern Ontario, in Canada.

as we groped and searched out the 
meanings of the words, "Love" and "Peace": 
one day, one hour, one month, one year, 
one experience - at a time.

Behold the ongoing development of the
manuscript, as years and experiences flowed like water, carrying this ever growing family along on a venture /
or a Quest / if you will...
to unlock the secrets of: "what it is: / "what it was"/
and, "what it might have been if..." / 

Is this not the most often framed question, 
when thoughts go to the late, John Lennon?
"I wonder what could have been if....>>>>"

I began this journey with an unquenchable desire to reach out
to a man / John / who: 
was placed and lived on such a tall pedestal: it was impossible
for anyone on ground level to reach him..
and impossible for him to make contact with anyone
who's feet remained on the ground.

Driven by passion,the grief of loss, loneliness, and fear;
I pressed on through the daily rigors of life:
ever questioning, ever calling.. ever crying out: 
to find... to know- and to be assured of answers to the
"unanswerable questions" of life.
 A seeker, as John was a seeker: I followed the trail of an inspiration -
of a voice- of words flowing from mind to pen:
a story and in pictures to augment the words.

As door after door slammed in my face, I querried publishers, and printers, writers, singers, and politicians... on and ohn - 
wondering at the inability to break through the wall of
silence
which surrounded John in his life,
and in his death.

What is this big secret that brought John to his demise?

Why would a story which makes John's
character come to life in a living colorful way be so 
thoroughly rejected by the very people who claim to be
so grieved and devestated by 
John's death.




Years were spent trying to give this story to those to whom one 
would think that it pertained: but
the doors remain firmly fastened.

Hardships snowballed in ever greater quantities.
the family became homeless.
then shattered... and I ran with the eight youngest of twelve
-a basket case: having neither home nor identity.

Alienated from the local social community, isolated,
overwhelmed with chores; having no personal
public identity; nor name; after almost 
twenty years of marriage.
We hit the street :
as in faceplant; and then came ten years of
grueling labors:raising the eight youngest children:
in 3rd world conditions;
alone in the northern Canadian 'bush' (wilderness..
for those of you who hate the word 'bush'-
for whatever reason...)

As time passed, we slowly were drawn
onward, and out of our archaich, backward, and
primitive living conditions.
the public schools began accomodating poor families
with working computers:
ones that were revamped, and fitted for use
so that the students could have access to
the technology at home.
Soon, I had a stream of 8 to 12 year olds,
teaching me how to use a computer.

as the years passed, I developed my skills,
and as the children grew,
leaving home, one by two by two...
I threw myself into studying the internet,
web design, computer graphics,
marketing etc.

and I continued in my quest to look for the way
to bring my story out.

and so it was that...

I was playing around with ftp and pdf makers... learning how to do this and that.... or - trying to...and this was what came together in paint (windows program)... just to test the pdf making tool.

For those of you who have a hard time waiting ("Coming Soon:" has been doing so for a long time: while I struggle to learn the in's and out's of the "how"...)/// 

this will give you some distraction,

and some practice... coloring,

entertainment, diversion, emotional enhancement... FUN..now...;;;

and a bit of an introduction to: "The Princess and the Unicorn: A Story We All Know".

It is said that a picture is worth a thousand words.  If this is true, then this is a book of many thousands of words.
